This water conservation book introduces students to characters who are known for “guzzling” water. Teachers can request a class set of the books and a teacher activity book, which includes reproducible activity sheets.
Little Splash is a collection of 21 activity and coloring pages--including reading, writing, coloring, drawing, and working puzzles that teach concepts about water. Students follow Little Splash through water education activities and use critical-thinking skills. They will learn that “water is life” and will become aware of its properties, its importance, its uses, and how it directly relates to them. Little Splash also links to current K-3 Content Standards for Science and History-Social Science.

This consumable is a coloring and activity book that teaches students about different aspects of water and weather by taking a trip around the water cycle. The book is aligned to the California Preschool Learning Foundations for Science at both 48 and 60 months of age.

Grades 3 and above

Geography of Water
Designed for grades 4-8, includes a series of six maps of California that teach and integrate specific geographic and water related concepts. By coloring these maps according to the directions, students learn about the state’s physical features, precipitation, population, industry & agriculture, and managing California’s water supply.
